Member of the Month

Roland Freeman became a member of the World Affairs Council in 2003 after attending a program with then-National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice. Over the past nine years, Roland has attended more than 180 events! He enjoys seeing former speakers on TV that he’s had the opportunity of meeting through the Council. Roland doesn’t just support the Council, he also supports the speakers by often purchasing their books at events. Always with a big smile on his face, Roland is our biggest fan and we are his.
